Information And Referral

I & R services are provided to respond to specific questions and assist in locating appropriate resources.

All services are individualized which means WCICIL may not have a specific program or service that encompasses all the needs of a consumer. WCICIL staff work together to ensure a consumer's need is addressed.
 

It may be necessary to refer a consumer to another agency to receive a particular service or information. WCICIL staff work with other related agencies to ensure the consumer is receiving appropriate services.

It is the primary vehicle for describing services to callers and initiating the process that enables consumers to become participants in services, active in society.
